Why did my Google Business listing disappear?
Gone from Maps is usually one of three things. Pick the fork you can actually see. We don’t recover listings and we don’t invent a cause.
1. Suspended or “not approved”
If Google says the profile is suspended, disabled, or not approved: stop. That is an appeal to Google, not a ranking report.
2. Merged / duplicate / “this listing has been updated”
Use Google’s own listing tools in the account that owns the profile. We don’t take ownership. We don’t merge listings for you.
3. Live, but customers don’t see it
Search Maps for the exact shop name. If the profile opens, the listing is live and “disappeared” usually means it stopped showing among the shops Google shows first. That’s the free check.

- Google Business dashboard shows suspended / disabled → fork 1.
- Maps search for the exact name fails and dashboard looks merged → fork 2.
- Maps search for the exact name opens the profile → fork 3. Paste it.
